Our news 201021.05.2010 On 21 May UNESCO celebrates the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. On this day UNESCO appeals to the Member States, intergovernmental bodies, organizations of the United Nations system, relevant non-governmental organizations and civil society to raise public awareness and encourage spreading of knowledge about the value and the wealth of cultural diversity. The exhibition is organized by the “Forum Art Gorod”, a socio-cultural initiative aimed at the development of the younger generation’s consciousness through Fine Arts and culture, under the long term UNESCO global project “The Children of the World are painting: All Different, All Unique”. The Programme of the event will include exhibition of children’s paintings of the Sixth International Contest of the Children’s Paintings under the title “The Best Postcard”, presentation of the post cards with children’s paintings and awarding ceremony.

07.04.2010 Dear friends! The participant’s pictures of The Sixth International Contest of the Children’s paintings for the title “the best postcard” of the Forum “Art Gorod” are very popular! So from time to time we get orders for exhibition. As you know for the third consecutive year, UNESCO is organizing the International Festival of Cultural Diversity on 21 May. A series of concerts, exhibitions and encounters will take place at UNESCO Headquarters. UNESCO Moscow Office invited Forum “Art Gorod” to participate in the International Festival! So we start preparation!
29.03.2010 Dear friends! The Sixth International Contest of the Children’s paintings for the title “the best postcard” of the Forum “Art Gorod” has finished! The names of winners were declared on March, 26 on Festival “Art Gorod”. Our warmest congratulations to the winners!!! Thanks to the participants, their parents and teachers!

03.03.2010 Dear friends! The first results of the Sixth International Contest of the Children’s paintings for the title “the best postcard” of the Forum “Art Gorod” are summarized. You can find the names of quarterfinalists here>>>. The semifinal will take place on March, 10-15.

So we can tell you that this year we had registered *20 countries *932 centers of population *1650 educational institutions *8320 participants *9460 draws

20.01.2010 Dear guests! We’re proud to report you that children from Republic of Lithuania, Sultanate of Oman, Republic of Moldova, Islamic Republic of Iran sent their draws. Nowadays there are 42 countries taking part in the Contest.
14.01.2010 Dear participants of our competition. Now we are in are working hard to open the mail boxes with your paintings. Please, be patient. As soon as we opened all of boxes we will start to hold a session of Jury. All information about session of Jury will be announced later. 23.12.2009 The main creative part of the Sixth International Contest of the Children’s paintings for the title “the best postcard” of the Forum “Art Gorod” is finished. Your works have been drawn and sent to organizing committee. Throughout the next two months honorable jury will select the best paintings. The laureate’s names will be announced at Festival “Art Gorod” on March, 22-27nd. Festival “Art Gorod” is a grandiose holiday for children, there parents and teachers!
